About Me
I had always been interested in healing and attended therapy off and on during my life but it wasn’t until I lost a best friend tragically after becoming a new Mother that I realized I did not have the capacity to face inevitable suffering of life with trust and care. Witnessing how difficult it was “to keep it together” helped me learn about the human experience of emotions and how they are not only offering sensations, but guidance for how to care for ourselves and others.
I began to notice how my relationship to my emotions was oppressive; there was a perception of feeling the “right” or “wrong” way to feel, even be. My awareness showed my resistance to the natural experience of emotions which blocked any type of soothing, meaning, or catharsis. It helped me understand the continuous emptiness I had felt in connection with myself and others.
With support from therapists and facilitators, I learned to trust my emotions by inviting them and allowing them to communicate what was necessary for my healing. I began to dive deep into my unconscious through modalities like somatic, Internal Family Systems, and psychedelic therapies.
This helped me remember the innate healing capacity inside of myself. Connecting to this inner resource gave me deeper awareness and belief in the life I could create for myself and my family. This work has allowed me to access unconscious patterns, build new neural pathways, and truly trust the wisdom of my wounds. It has brought a life of vitality rather than striving and it has changed my relationship to everything; myself, others, the world. I am deeply grateful for the support I have received on my continuous healing journey and am devoted to supporting others remember their own healing capacity and ability to live lives they truly connect to.
